Okay, this blog is even more interesting than I thought it would be! I'm thinking I should ask our mother, Ann to contribute. She is a fount of information about household stuff like laundry, cleaning, the latest health tips,etc. If you have a question for Ann, this is a good place to ask!

Leslie's mother says take zinc tablets the moment you think you might be getting a cold. Getting ahead of it is a big plus. Sheril came home from the cabin with a cold and was miserable by evening. We started the Zinc morning and night plus Zicam and by Saturday he was over the cold and now suffers from a cough. You know the usual lingering cough. That's three days with the cold symptoms and now the cough. For him this is about two days quicker recovery. I started the zinc before Christmas and have not any symptoms of a cold as yet. It works faster if you can get ahead of the cold so pay attention to how you feel each day and do something about it!
